It's about time. When you have Sausage Fingers like me it is downright awkward removing a lens cap with a hood in place. Now all Canon need to do is reduce their ridiculously overpriced L series lenses!!

I like your shot very much. I am trying to take decent bird pictures and to date have not had the opportunity to take many in flight. What type of lens did you use and at what focal length? Did you also focus on single point?
