I'm looking for suggestions / ideas for this years Post Christmas Do which will take place in January. Let me have your ideas and I will look into them all. I know I chatted with some of you at the club tonight but please still put the suggestions from tonight onto here as I have a memory like a sieve
Bulls Head at Astley. No entertainment but semi private room can be booked, (Have been with caravan group,- good food)
Boat House, Higher Green Lane, Astley. Entertainment some nights, semi private tables can be reserved. Sometimes singer can be noisy.
If I think of any more will communicate, further.
PS I enjoyed the Greyhound, but appears to have been unpopular with some. Alan D.
However, I'm sure there are plenty of alternatives. For a meal how about The Woodside on the East Lancs Road or The Barton Arms by the canal just beyond Worsley Court House? No entertainment though.
