#203 - Down on the Farm

Post by TerryA »

For this weeks competition I thought it could be anything from farm buildings, farm animals or farm equipment.......anything farm related in fact. As I'm away for a couple of weeks can we make the closure date of midnight on Sunday the 27th of May. Good luck everyone

It's been particularly difficult due to such good images - but here goes........

Joanne - Lovely shot of 501800 ( I think I've met her sister 501801 ). She doesn't look too impressed at being photographed.....

John - Superb shot as always. Great character in the building, lovely colour balance.

Paul - Excellent image, good composition. I particularly like the diagonal line created by the mown grass.

Mel - Sounds like the title of a song by 'Sting' or an entry for the last competition about 'ruins'. Great perspective and a lovely sky.

Sue - Great contrasty image and exposure. I like yard brickwork and lines created.

Graham - Sad, eerie shot of a tumbled ruin. Again, could have been in the last competition. The tractor ruts in the foreground just add to the sadness and decay.

Neil - Superb shot, spot on focus of the grasses in the foreground. The vignetting?? was that deliberate, it certainly adds to the quality.

Janice - Very interest and unusual picture although they're getting more common these days......I'd sue the farmer though

So for me it's

1st Nielwigan
2nd Graham
3rd Jojo

Sorry Neil, it's over to you.......

Cheers, Terry

Feeling a bit better today . For the next comp I am setting pictures inspired by the music of "PINK FLOYD". Hope you come up with some imaginative ideas . Neil. Not sure how to set up as a comp will find out at the club meet.

All you need to do Neil is set up a new thread. Give it a title and just describe what you are asking us to do. Don't forget the end date.

Your title should be in this format:
#204 - Inspired by the music of Pink Floyd
Best regards
