John - I sent my daughter all the details and prices for the Year Book so she could get a copy for my birthday next week.

I'm am totally shocked that she has been charged £9.60 for Postage and Packing - just how do they justify such an outragious price and why was there no mention in your information regarding this charge ???

There are several choices given for postage and packing and the £9.60 is a Premium service. I think the lowest cost option is rather less than that.

Every supplier of this type charges for P&P and the lowest rate is in line with the rates charged by Amazon and eBay - somewhere around the £3 mark I think.

There is actually a more expensive option even than the £9.60, but I'm not sure what that is offhand, or what we get for that. The details are on the checkout system.

Sorry I didn't mention P&P. Last year we still paid it, but it was included in the price, which at £45 was almost double what it's costing this time.

Thanks John for organising this.
Ordered mine and paid £ 3.75 for P & P which sounds about right.

John - I've had a word with my daughter about her order and the shipping cost.

The basic shipping is £3.60 and is for a despatch within 15 days - She thought this would make delivery long past my birthday.

So she decided on this alternative shipping which is despatch in 2 to 5 days - cost £9.60 with tracking facility.

They have advised delivery by 2 June (9days).

Thank you John for all the work you put in organising the Year Book and the preparation time involved.
It is much appreciated and I'm looking forward to the postmans delivery.

I see that the first five books have already been despatched, so hopefully we shall start receiving them soon.

All feedback will be welcome. The idea is to do the same again every year and to make it better each time, so all comments and ideas will be duly noted.
Best regards

Mine arrived today. I'm really impressed, the quality is really good both of the book itself with it's simple black design and the standard of images that have been submitted, we should all be very proud, I know I am. :-d :-d :-d

I definitely think this is an excellent way of recording our best shots of the year.

Thank you to John for organising it.

Cracking Idea John. Gives people a good reason to take even better pictures and if you get one in print, wow!

Time to get a camera me thinks!
