Manchester & Manchester Town Hall
Another suggestion for an ADAPS field trip - how about Manchester Town Hall? It's free to enter and you just need to let reception (at the main entrance) know that you are there to take photos (and sign a not for profit declaration)?
The building is amazing inside. I'll have to check whether it's open in the evening, from say 6pm. If anyone fancies it, we could then have a scout around the City Centre looking for low-light opportunities.
Subject to any other plans with the summer syllabus - I was thinking of Tuesday, 4 August. Pammie - is that date OK?
If anyone fancies going alone to Manchester Town Hall, you can check with the Events & Conference Office to make sure there are no events at the time of your visit - to have unrestricted access to the building. Details are below:

Re: Manchester & Manchester Town Hall
We should put that to Pammie to either arrange or to ask someone to arrange. Good idea.
Don't forget that club outings have to be put into the syllabus so that we are insured!

This is a great building inside. I went for a graduation ceremony once. I'd have to go by myself as I'm away in August. Great idea.

Re: Manchester & Manchester Town Hall
I have asked that this be placed on the syllabus (for the insurance purposes) for Tuesday August 4th.
Whilst I'm here I'll add my name to the list.

I'll be sending the list of revisions to Paul later for inclusion on the Syllabus page.
Meanwhile, add Sue and me and we'll see you there!

Re: Manchester & Manchester Town Hall
Just to let you know the Town Hall have confirmed the evening of 4 August is available.
Each member will need to sign a declaration that the images you take will not be used for commercial use, which I expect everybody will be happy with.
As of today, there are only a few events running on the day, so we should have good access to the majority of the rooms/floors but this may change before 4 August. This will be confirmed nearer the time.
Suggest we meet at the Town Hall at 7pm and we take it from there.
