Sometimes being part of a project can answer long standing questions about all sorts of things. Down on Chaddock Lane there is a tall (listed) wall that totally conceals the mysterious Chaddock Hall. I was delighted to find it on my list of targets, delighted to find myself one morning unlocking the gates and I'm delighted to share this mysterious and wonderful building with you now:

Just wrapped up the final three shots today, apart from one outstanding that still awaits permission.
The photography part of the project will end at the end of September.
Best regards

Hi John,
Isn't it time that we had another evening of the pictures that you have taken for English Heritage and the stories behind them?

The Train Shed is from a 400 ISO colour negative and is an Images of England shot.
I would have much preferred it to have been shot on a DSLR.
Best regards
