I had a tough job in judging these greatly varied BRIDGES:

1. Atmospheric Twilight shimmers and shapes 2.Colourful Pastel canal-side illustration 3. Mellow ancient Spanish warmth 4.Moody Manchester underworld 5. Historic Highland packhorse arch 6. Striking Scottish iconic iron and brick 7. Out of this world Lunar space station 8. Bright and eerily still Salford 9. Memorable floating San Francisco twin span 10. Magnificent Monochrome famous three arches
11. Beautiful summertime Botanic Wirral 12.Striking Geometric sunset 13. Dreamily Floating Southport shadows 14. Witty camera
15. World famous Thames landmark 16. Idyllic North wales waters 17. Bright and bold turquoise lights

I really enjoyed all of these images but my favourites.

3RD Salford Quays (Gerry G)
2ND Manchester Bridge (KEASLA)
FIRST PLACE Newcastle sunset (yatchtsman1

Good subject Lisa. Judging short and sweet and very descriptive. Well done Eric. Looking forward to your choice.

Hi Lisa thanks for selecting my picture, secretly IMO it's one of the best I have taken. We were staying in a hotel near the Tyne & I wanted to get some pictures of the riverside. During the day I had spotted a small landing stage & said we would go back at dusk & get some shots. We got there just before sunset & guess what, another photographer had bagged the best spot. After a short chat we managed to set up the tripod & got the shots we wanted. I compiled them into an AV show called "Fog on the Tyne" which can be found here if any AV fans would like to see it. It's on the new Slideshow Club site, so no pop up adds or distractions. 63MB. http://www.slideshowclub.com/files/file ... -the-tyne/
I didn't expect to win so soon after my last win so haven't got a subject for the next competition, please be patient & I'll come up with something asap.
Regards Eric.
