I too have just moved to the dark side and ordered a new laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate. It doesn't come until Monday, but I'm already having nightmares. It means I will be using Photoshop from now on.
Theo, as an aside, your email problem could be fixed by simply switching once and for all to gmail (or googlemail). You never have to throw a mail away and even if your pc dies, you still have all your mail online, accessable from anywhere. I think it's around 7gb at the moment.
