Im sure John will remember about a month or two ago when me, my dad & his wife to be (recently become wife) took a night off to explore Martin mere at dusk for a Barn owl & bat walk.
The night was perfect for seeing barn owls preying on small rodents in the marshlands just outside the park. Unfortunately my Camera would not capture the Owls (who were several hundred meters away) in any great detail although it was the first time id had a chance to really use my new camera so i was probably doing something wrong =]. However the Cloud's captured the sun's rays and painted an awesome sunset landscape. So here are some of the Best shots i took. Enjoy.
