I'm assuming that you mean the Ranking System used on the forum.

Ranks, which appear below your username, indicate the number of posts you have made or identify certain users, e.g. moderators and administrators.

The list was setup when we started the new forum and I believe runs like this:

0-49 posts: Initiate
50-99 posts: Member
100-149 posts: Elite Member
150-249 posts: Photographer
250 posts +: Master Photographer

There ia a final accolade for those who can't stop talking ( ) and that is at 500 posts there is the heady height of being an Iconic Photographer! Who will be our first Icon?

The ranking also is reflected in the number of lit apples - there are five rank stages that activate five apples.

It's all a bit of fun, and how exciting to be the first with five apples! It reminds me with some sense of horror of the photographer who, with a perfectly straight face, informed me that his new lens was "a five blob lens!" because Practical Photography rated their tests using up to five blobs....

Funny old world.

Theo Dibbits - 260 posts
Steve Unsworth - 214 posts
Pammie Vose - 185 posts
