Help wanted re music for Norway AV.
I am making a couple of AVs with the images of my recent trip to Norway, apart from shots of the Aurora Borealis there are wildlife shots, landscapes, and other general images, my problem is choosing the music suitable for the images my knowledge of the classics is zero and this is where most of the appropriate music can be found, the friends I met in Norway have asked me to send them some of the images I took, so an AV is much better than just some images on a DVD.
Even though there may be a group of photographers taking images of the Aurora because of the changing light and the differant settings on your camera you all get differant images of the same subject.
Hoping you can help,
Bert.
Three more images to give you an idea of the differant lighting.

Fantastic images Bert.
The music depends upon what mood you want to convey, perhaps one of wonder and mystery with the Aurora? There is some Norwegian electronic classical music that might convey the mood, such as:
Arne Nordheim - Epitaffio for orchestra and magnetic tape
Alfred Janson - Canon for chamber orchestra and magnetic tape
Bjorn Fongaard - Galaxy for three electric guitars in quarter-tones
More conventionally, we have Edvard Grieg and I have CD of his music that you can borrow if you wish.

Hi Bert,
personally I would definitely go with 'Aurora borealis' by Mike Oldfield.
you can listen it here, with apropriate accompanying video.

and I've got the album if you want it.
regards, keith.

Jeff Wayne, War of the Worlds compositions - not classical but a very strange and scary piece of music.
