With the help of Danny Baker, Alan Cash and a load of gaffer tape we have managed to set up a small exhibition in the Atherton Library.
The space is very restricted so the number of prints on show are limited but the staff have been extreemly helpful and appreciative.
I thought it was important to show some presence as after all we are Atherton DAPS

Makes us sound like a baseball team - Atherton DAPS!
Many thanks for the efforts guys, I hope we all go down and have a look to show some support. It's many years since we had and exhibition at Atherton Library, so well worth getting back in the game with them.

Well done Theo and co, anyone know the opening times etc of the library as with the closing of the bridge it's a 23 mile round trip for me,
Bert.

The Library will be open for much shorter hours from next year, so we might as well make the most of it while we can.
From next September I hear they are moving into a new building at Hesketh Fletcher. That might be an opportunity for us, depending upon how much space they have there. It's good to support our local libraries where we can.

When they move perhaps there will be a little more room as it is a very cramped space in which to display. The photographs still looked good though & there were a few people in there waiting for their children that were having a good look at them too, so they are being noticed.
