Model Shoot - Amber

This is from the second shoot I had on Saturday. It was completely dark by the time we started and absolutely freezing. I mainly used the 50mm I bought earlier in the day, which was a steep learning curve. I also used off camera flash for all shots.

I liked number 18 best as I think the model suited the drama of the image. She has got fantastic legs, would be interesting to see her legs bare and more of a focal point.

Think you doing an awesome job shooting these models on location, they are very impressive. Something I would like to get into in the future.

Hi Philip,
A good variety of poses and backgrounds etc, I liked the one including the skateboarder, nice to see you are using the 50mm prime lens.

Hi Phil
I’ve just been looking at your images again from the two shoots you did last weekend. You did a great job with both of them, I think the ones of Amber have more of an impact, they seem to have the edge over the ones taken earlier in the day of Matra. I think probably because of the location and the fact that it was darker so had more of an atmospheric feel to the whole shoot, also the skateboarder in the background was a good move, catching him mid air, brilliant. I like the angles you have captured Amber, I think my favourites are the sepia one (No 5) and the B&W one with the skateboarder (No 14).
You should be very proud.
Tracey x
