Atherton & District Amateur Photographic Society

Hi all,
I've just registered on the forum and am hoping to attend some ADAPS meetings so thought i would introduce myself.
As my user name suggests, i'm called Chris Stephens, I am 36 and live in Leigh. I caught the photography bug in Sept 2011 after buying a Sony bridge camera and quicky developed a taste for landscape photograpy. After i got my head around the settings and found myself using Maunal mode more often, I started to lust after a Dslr and as it was Christmas, i indulged and bought a Canon 5d Mark II (WOW).
I regularly visit Penington Flash and the Rivington area to feed my habit and am now in search of other interesting locations to mix it up a bit ( any suggestions would be greatly appreciated)

Hello and welcome Chris, great images on Flickr I notice you also had a Canon 500D before your 5D you are obviously well and truly hooked now

I borrowed the 500d from my dad while i was contemplating the 5d Mk 2. Once i tried a Dslr there was no going back. Im well and truly hooked now ( and skint)
