We need digital images on CD's as set out below:

A. For two battles we request 2 images per member at the following resolution: 1024 X 768.

B. For L&CPU contest we request 1 image per member at the resolution: 1400 x 1050(Lanscape). Portrait images to fit this landscape resolution with a black fill each side.

These are needed either by Thursday 17th January or Thursday 24th January at the latest to give us time to select entries.

Does this request for Digital Images mean that images that have previously been slides and or prints, can be submitted Regards

Yes, images which have previously appeared as prints or slides can be entered as this is a new format.

The standard resolution for the L&CPU competitions is 1024 x 768 at the moment.

I know some clubs are mooting the 1400 x 1050 standard, so I was curious as to which competition is asking for it that we are entering? Is it Poynton?

The resolution you have quoted I thought was designated as the 'Pixel Dimensions'.

The Resolution being the 'Pixels/Inch' such as 72px/in for WebSites or 300px/in for printing.

Please clarify this.
