Next Thursdays meeting will be an entertaining and interesting event about the Anderton Boat Lift's history presented by Ted Thompson.

They now have a fully accessible Operations Centre, cafe area , exhibition area and gift shop and is well worth a visit.

Our speaker, Ted Thompson, and his late wife were founders of the appeal that eventually led to the full restoration of the boat lift. Ted still acts as a volunteer at weekends and other special occasions, so he is the man who knows all about it.
