Pentax Q Turns Traditional

The addition of the three element Albada viewfinder turns the Q into a diminutive street camera. It's effectively the same as a Leica with 50mm lens and external viewfinder, but a fraction of the size and of course digital. This was picked up yesterday from Jessops in York, reduced from £229.00 to £49.99 and so slightly more in reach. What a beautiful piece of engineering it is too, a tiny gem.
I shall be practising with my Cartier-Bresson hat on sometime very soon.....

That's one heck of a price drop!

It was one heck of a price for a viewfinder, although when you see how well made it is then I'm not sure Leica or Zeiss could do any better.
I think Jessops are clearing some stocks, as their woes continue, and these are available collect in store only, if you can find one. Nice timing indeed that the ADAPS trip to York meant I found the one in stock in Jessops York!
