Hi All,
I just thought I would share a bit of good news with you all. I was awarded a silver medal in the guernsey 2012 salon, for Free spirits,

and better still, a best in class award, which in their case is a replica gold colourd milk churn, for my picture of Melissa, but in this case titled "The Look"

Winning the Best in Class with the photo of Melissa is well justified and, if I'm being honest, IMHO it should have won the September 2012 monthly comp here at ADAPS - just goes to show that judging is very personal and very subjective.

I like the 'X Factor' treatment on the background of the Melissa photo. It really lifts it and gives it that 'something extra'. Nice job.

Oh yes Peter, what I should have said is that we should have something like a Roll of Honour to display and highlight members achievements. Perhaps a book - or even photographs
