Hi Folks,
Not being able to get out much, time to organise my images in different categories, sport, wildlife, landscape etc.
One of our friends lives at Morpeth in Northumberland and the local farmer who is also a keen photographer allows us to go onto his land and farm buildings, he has a large variety of wildlife on his farm, birds including Barnowls kingfishers etc and has hides set up to take photo's from,
Attached 3 images, I have a selection of lenses of my own and can also borrow lenses off my friends, the Barnowl was taken with a 500m lens apperture 6.3, shutter 1250,exposure comp -2/3. Aperture priority , centre weighted metering.
Regards,
Bert

Hi Bert

These are very good bird shots, as always.

I've lifted your quote from the 'Red Kite' thread. I think it makes such a difference shooting the birds against a green grass backdrop as opposed to a blue sky. It's far more effective (in my opinion).
