Atherton & District Amateur Photographic Society

I'm toying with the idea of producing my own AV tutorials. I've tried a free version of video capture software called Debut Video capture, the results were very poor, particularly the text which was very broken. I've downloaded 30 day trials of two others, Blackberry or BB Capture, and Camtasia Studio 8. Both give excellent results but one is twice as expensive as the other. The cheaper one wasn't as user friendly so unfortunately it's looking like the Camtasia, which is a big investment for me. Has anyone used either of those or could suggest another with good results.. I've attached 3 screen shots, one from each product.
