Is that the filename of the mp3 before adding it to PTE?
Hi
It's quite a while since I wrote this so you will have to bear with me. I don't remember what I said about changing the track name, but if it was in the context of avoiding Youtube's copyright detection process, things have got worse this year. I started compiling copyright free music with the intention of using specifically on Youtube presentations, in particular from a musician called Kevin Macleod. Most of his stuff is electronically produced, but he does have a few well known pieces, if you Google his name you should find them. Some of his stuff is not CF so you have to sift through it. However a couple of months ago I started producing lamps made from cameras & musical instruments. I made a couple of promos (Aladdin's Kampro Lamps) & uploaded them onto Youtube, they used Macleod tracks. One was flagged by Youtube as copyright even though on KM's site it wasn't. I didn't bother fighting them & just let the upload stay flagged. If your uploads are definitely non profit making, you could join the IAC & get their licences which YT recognises in the UK. If you are in a camera club affiliated to the IAC it is relatively inexpensive, under £20 per year, if you aren't it could cost over £70 per person making the shows. There is lots of info on the IAC site.
To sum up, depending on the popularity of the track you use will determine the possibility of someone taking steps preventing you using their music. Uploading to Mediafire & Dropbox is an alternative to Youtube & they don't use the flag system, however if you read their copyright rules, the same things apply.
Hope this helps.
