The only time I can win at ADAPS is when you can't enter Tracey. Well done in the annuals.
Now what shall I give you all this time. I know, something everybody must have in their house, board games, card games and party games. Close ups, creative, the family, the bad loser, the cheat. Anything from Monopoly, Cluedo, Snakes and ladders(real snakes and ladder would be fun) twister, snap, Charades and even computer games (but not a picture of the screen) someone playing on the Wii. Jacqueline looks really stupid when she does that boxing game on hers. Get the kids, family and friends involved and have fun. Sorry Jared and Stuart but no bike pictures, unless you can get them inside your house. Right I'm off to play spin the bottle with the next door neighbours.
Closing date: Midnight on the 15th May
Good luck
Gerry

Hi Gerry
Good theme. You got me thinking about board games on a Saturday afternoon. My favourite game of all time has to be Backgammon, so here's a close-up of my board.

"View From The Dungeon Master's Chair" : Every Wednesday we do Advanced Dungeons & Dragons at Mike's house. In this instance I'm in the DM's chair and the players are busy designing new characters for the next adventure, where Mike will be taking over as DM. Left to right we have Sue, Mark, Mike, Christine, Craig, John and Fez.

I know this comp' is for still pictures so I don't expect it to be judged, but this is all I could find in my archives. I'ts my wife & two of our Grandchildren on our CatFisher Catamaran in Largs Scotland.

Hi Everybody, Sorry I am late doing the judging but I have been busy, anyhow here goes :
1 Paul - Backgammon. Paul, this is just what I was looking for, nice Depth of Field and I like the angle of the board.
2 John - View from The Dungeon Masters Chair. Not sure about this John, as I can't see a board. Do you really play Dungeons and Dragons every Wednesday ? If so, you should get out more
3 Glenys - Scrabble. Well thought out and a good close-up shot, but, I see you cheat at Scrabble as you are not allowed to use abbreviations
4 Janice - Compendium. Nice effort Janice, 3 games for 1, I like the colour and texture you have given the picture, looks a well used set.
5 Yachtsman1 - " I know this comp' is for still pictures so I don't expect it to be judged" - correct.
6 Stu B - Subbuteo. Nice try this Stuart, good idea and a well taken picture with a bit of action thrown in. The only problem is your comment "Only one rule in our house "The reds never win" I'm a Man U supporter.
8 Stbourne - 8 Ball. I really like this picture. Well thought out and set up, nice bright colours and a good depth of field.
The Scores :
1 - Janice for Compendium - And your prize is thinking up something as a theme and then having to judge them at the end.
= 2 Everybody else, because you took the time and trouble to enter.
Onto you Janice-

Thanks Gerry.
It was a good challenge to get people thinking. Over to you Janice!

Gerry, we really do play every Wednesday. No boards I'm afraid, because Advanced Dungeons and Dragons is not played with a board, but it can be a family game and has been in our house since about 1980.
