Hi all, as you probably already know I am continually plugging AV. If you AV fans out there aren't already aware, there is a new site to upload your AV shows, it was originally known as "Cottage", it has now been bought by WNsoft the producers of Pictures to Exe & is called SLIDESHOW Club.. Being a private site, there are no snags to uploading your shows there, such as pop ups & adds. There are rules, which are displayed before you upload a show. The link is http://www.slideshowclub.com/files/cate ... lideshows/ There is also a link on there back to the PTE forum & a link from the PTE Forum to SSC.
For those of you who use Version 8.0.1 of Pictures to Exe, there is now an online English manual in Wiki form, the link to that is http://docs.picturestoexe.com/en/main
As most of my AV's are on either Dropbox, Mediafire or Youtube I decided to produce a database of most of my work. The only things not on the database, are shows too big to upload to hosting sites, my AV show database is http://www.slideshowclub.com/files/file ... -database/ . On my database there are tutorials on using PTE & Audacity as well as conventional shows I've made since 2007, this is the link to the full database including tutorials & slideshows http://www.slideshowclub.com/files/file ... achtsman1/ . There is a rider in the database, that downloads can be used for any purpose other than offering them for sale, so go on fill your boots or stilletos & take a look. There are full instructions on there of how to search my databases & links to all the shows.
Finally, I started a Silver Surfers Computer club at our retirement complex, I made some AV shows specifically aimed at introducing Seniors to computing, the are big files 200MB each, so be warned, before attempting to download if you have a slow internet connection. Part 1 is here http://www.slideshowclub.com/files/file ... mputing-1/ . Part 2 will be uploaded later today.
Regards Eric.
