The hum of excitement is slowly growing, the preparations well in advance, the food prepared, the judge booked, the combatants lined up ready to do Photographic Battle!

Yes, tonight is the annual Battle vs our good neighbours in Leigh.

Good luck to all and let's look forward to some keen battle and warm camaraderie!

Alas, dear readers, the game was played and was fair and true, but to no avail.

The judge is now residing under the patio.....

Keith will post the details of the winter of our discontent, but we will arise again next battle!

Thought that we had some pretty good pictures/images, some of which had done very well in the
P.A.G.B and L&CPU competitions but which didn't do well last night.
Just go to show that you never know where you are with some Judges. He certainly didn't seem to like
'creative' images so some of our recent 19/20 pointers only scored 14's and 15's. C'est la vie!
Good luck to Leigh (this time) just have to get even next year.

Apparently that means that we didn't win.

Ah well, we have had a good run in the competitions recently, so this should keep us on our toes and not get complacent.
