Mr Smith's in Warrington

A friend suggested that ADAPS might be interested in this. The former Mr Smith's nightclub in Warrington is to be demolished on 11th August: http://www.warringtonguardian.co.uk/new ... ?ref=var_0 . Apparently it used to be a cinema and the upstairs hasn't been changed and is supposedly art deco. It might be interesting to take some photos before it is gone. My friend thought that they may be more willing to let a photography club in rather than an individual. I don't know much about these things, what do people think?

I think it would be a great idea, I'll have a look at it.

A prompt reply, but sadly the building has now been prepared for demolition, so it's now designated a demolition site and the developers can't let us have access.

A big shame that, it would have been a great opportunity - but thanks for suggesting it Sue!
