This is your chance to showcase ten of your favourite digital photographs. They may be your favourites for a variety of reasons, eg because of subject matter, composition, processing, or technical excellence, etc. Please bring the photos along on the night on your memory stick.

If these can be in our standard 1400 x 1050 pixel format that would be very helpful.

Mel has pointed out that it would be nice if you gave us a few words as well as to why each photo is a favourite, but only for those who are happy to do so. No pressure, we want to see your favourite images!

I've chosen 10, but it wasn't easy cutting down to only ten.....

Just to clarify - "Ten of My Favourite Photographs" should be photographs that you have taken!

Thanks to Gwen for giving me the idea for tonight's meeting, and thank-you to all those who contributed to make the evening enjoyable. Perhaps we should run this on an annual basis.

I thought it was a good night, it was nice to see what people thought of their own images and why they were special to them. A totally different perspective on the usual competition type of entries. It was nice to hear the stories behind the images. Top night and one I think should be a regular feature on our annual syllabus.

I totally agree with all that's been said above, and would like to add that I thought it was especially nice that two new visitors, Eve and Adrian, had seen it on the web and brought pictures so they could join in as well. Brilliant! Adrian is "Relief Signalman" and has now joined.
