Maxwell Law will be presenting "Earth Wind and Flight" on 2 October, which is a photographic presentation including prints and projected images, depicting an annual migration with the birds from the north of the UK to the south of Portugal. There will be a strong emphasis on wildlife and landscape, mixed with some travel photography. Orkney in Scotland and the Alentejo region of Portugal will be covered in detail, with bird photography accounting for about half the images shown.

A brilliant presentation tonight by Maxwell Law, especially his shots of birds in flight. I didn't know that there were so many varieties of birds in the UK, but then he showed an even greater variety in Portugal.

He also offered to run a workshop on his bird photography work - starting with a talk on subject, light, environment, camera settings, then 2 hours of practical work in the field at Martin Mere towards the end of November - on a Sunday. He would like between 5 and 9 people, costing around £25 per head. I'm interested - let me know if there are any other ADAPS members interested.
