Just tried a spot of image stacking. Was attracted to the natural fractals of this Romanesco broccoli. It definitely works best as a mono image for me - open to any comments though.

It's not as difficult as you'd expect, especially as it's a still subject. Planning on showing people how to do it on my Saturday macro workshop.

Actually I think that this would do quite well in competitions, ( could be a winner with the right judge ).
It's a great image and I would definitely put it in.

Reason I wasn't sure about entering it is because I once entered my Colours of Spring image in a comp and the judge said, 'I'm not sure why this has been entered, it's a nice image, but just a technical exercise really'. I suppose, like you say, if I get the right judge it may score well.
