Saturday photo shoot with singer Louise

What a great singer - and a lovely voice. Had a great time photographing Alan's grand-daughter, Louise this morning. Many thanks to Alan for volunteering her (and for making the coffee), to Danny for organising the shoot, and to Lesley for the loan of her lights. A great morning. Here's a quick edit of the first batch of photos.....

I think using the beauty light as a main constant light source, rather than using flash, worked very well. It was more atmospheric, much closer to a concert situation.

I had a fab time and really enjoyed trying something different. Still processing my shots - never used the camera in such a setting before so a great learning experience for me. Louise was fantastic - it must be tiring to sit and sing and pose for 2 hrs with photographers all trying to get shots. Thanks to all involved.
