As the competition season will shortly be upon us, this is the evening for members to bring along their images for appraisal.

John Riley, Len Hudson and Tracey McGovern will appraise the work and provide constructive help / advice.

Digital mainly I suspect, but prints can happily be looked at as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed the appraisal evening last night.

Many thanks to the excellent appraisers who balanced the tricky job of constructive criticism of friends work in public. I personally found the comments very helpful and supportive.

It is also good that the night generated some animated conversation from the floor.

A good night last night" Appraisal " The club that plays together stays together and last night was fun as well as interesting .It is good to be able to have to give the "Judges" a reply instead of having to sit there and bite your tongue and it was interesting to pick up on the problems inherent in judging even within our own club .Very brave to be an appraiser and more so to put up your own pictures.
