It was quite funny in Croatia, just before I went to photograph this butterfly.

On the day I saw it fly to an area of Lavender that I wanted it to go to, so I rushed over there, only to find a couple hiding away, who were, shall I say, enjoying applying sun tan lotion to each other with a little too much enthusiasm! Imagine their surprise when they saw me racing towards them with a huge, pro-looking camera! Before I could explain the swallowtail landed in the perfect spot that i'd been waiting all week for and I managed to get a few shots off before I left them to it!
