Photovision 17/6/2008

Post by Walter Brooks »

Did anyone else go to Photovision yesterday at MUFC ground? Caught the last seminar on off camera lighting at the end of the day ... which I found interesting. Did not know what to expect from the billed exhibitors :? ... but I am glad for seeing the seminar!

Walter,
I went to Photovision yesterday, I arrived at 11am when it opened and left at 5pm. I attended all five seminars, they where all very good especially the ones by Guy Gowan, he is an Adobe expert and is one of the brains behind photoshop being involved with Adobe from the original up to the latest CS programmes, his name is in the credits when you open photoshop, two of the programmes which he solely developed are Curves and channels, I arrived early to take advantage of the camera service and CCD cleaning service on offer, I was one of the first to arrive but there had already been 18 cameras handed in, I went to collect mine at 3-30 and he had just finished it, superb job and just like new. A super day and the seminars where much better than the ones at FOCUS.

Bert.
