Atherton & District Amateur Photographic Society

Last year I wrote to The Royal Photographic Society in Bath and asked if they delivered talks to clubs & societies.

They were kind enough to arrange a RPS presentation by Mary Crowther.

Mary usually talks about the Society, the Distinctions process, and bring prints along to look some of the successful panels.

She prefers to have prints rather than just talking or projected images then everyone can walk around and see close up some of the work

This will be a great evening and a chance to learn about the Royal Photographic Society.

This was a great, lively evening that got us all talking, debating and getting to grips with some photography that was a world apart from the standard camera club fare.

It's all about broadening our experience and I certainly found it very interesting.
