This evening is an opportunity for us to get our cameras focussed for creating images of the Steam Museum items. David Lewis there will open the building up for us with the opportunity of wandering around. Hopefully there will be enough daylight for the visit, but you may wish to bring along flash and tripods.

The Postcode is: BL1 4EU

The museum is situated approximately 1.5 miles NW of Bolton town centre on Mornington Road. Look for the large Morrison’s Supermarket at the junction of Mornington Road and Chorley Old Road (B6226) and go into the supermarket car-park.
The museum is in the large Victorian cotton warehouse building next to the petrol station.
Parking for the museum is free anywhere on the supermarket site.
Bus numbers 125 and 126 (Stagecoach) and 519 (First Bus) operate from the town centre on Chorley Old Road, stopping just outside the supermarket.

Hope to see you there

This was well attended and there are now lots of images on our Facebook page, more than for most visits.

Really enjoyed looking for details to photograph and well worth the time spent. Many thanks to John for a most successful event.
