Tonight is a chance to look at images of the past. Martin Berry from Warrington PS will be presenting the past from the archives in a digital form.

From the societies website:-

Warrington Photographic Society has maintained a unique collection of lantern slides, or sometimes referred to as 'magic lantern' slides, from past members of the club. The slides date back to the early days of the club in the 1890's up to the 1960's when production of glass slides ceased as more modern 35mm slide material became available. The collection is a fascinating journey through history and includes a variety of subject not just in the North West areas but throughout the United Kingdom as well as European destinations.

This should be an interesting and informative evening.

Just a heads-up, but England are playing Belgium on Thursday night, so you might not get a big turn out. Is it too late to rearrange the night?
