Hi

A chap at work gave me some old equipment, said if anyone at the Club wanted it they could have it for free rather than see it collect dust in his house. I'm not really to sure what it is but I'll describe it as best as I can.

The box reads:
Ohnar Zoom Slide Duplicator, 2.5x Zoom Slide Duplicator for SLR Cameras
A Bush & Meissner Ltd Product
Code C1331

There's a picture on the box of what looks like a long lense which connects onto an SLR. At the other end is a square thing that I think slides go into.

He's also given me a small box which contains what looks like extension rings.

If anyone has a clue what this is and would like to have it, let me know. If it's something that's worth something and you feel you can't take it for free then a small docation to the club would suffice, if it's worth nowt then you can still have it for free.

Tracey, slide copiers were a sort of fixed focus macro lens that allowed people to copy slides. You had to be careful because slides are a high contrast medium, so you'd be looking to use a low contrast film for the actual copy.

The copiers usually had a bayonet for a particular SLR - Canon, Nikon, Pentax etc., so who ever takes it off your hands will need to have a camera with the same mount.

This slide copier uses a T mount system, so you only need the appropriate T mount for your camera. It very likely already has one in the box, but we don't know what camera type it will fit.

T mounts are readily available from most decent suppliers and also SRB, who can make almost any adapter anyway.

The extension tubes may be useful for someone, but it will depend on what camera they fit.
