Photoshop for beginners video tutorials

At long last I have solved the technical difficulties and have started to post video tutorials on my web site.
Paste
http://www.technitrain.com/photo_editing.htm
in the address bar of your web browser.
I have split the course into appropriately titled short two minute sections. They are about 2 or 3 megabyte files. Right click on the link on the web page and choose "Save Link As..." to download it to your hard drive.

I am about half way through the raw file converter but I will be adding new videos almost daily so bookmark the page and revisit it regularly.

ENJOY !

Hi Berney
I will find this very useful. I'm not that hot on Photoshop so your tutorials will be invaluable and it will save me trying to write in the dark then decifer what I have written after your club tutorials. Thank you for taking the time to put all this together.
Best Wishes
Tracey

Hi Tracey

Good to know someone was trying to take notes and had not nodded off. Thanks for your kind remarks, it's nice to be appreciated.

Hi Berny,
I found you tutorials at the club very informative, but having had my brain for a very long time on returning home everything has been deleted,
thanks for taking the time etc to put together your tutorials on the website .

Bert.

I have completed the rawfile converter section and the levels (brightness, contrast & colour balance) and have just added some riveting footage on the crop tool. East Enders, eat your heart out!

Bert, thanks, your are most welcome.

On my last talk at the club, someone asked me what the small square symbol with a number 01 along side of it in the top left of the image in photoshop and how to get rid of it. I can't remember who asked me but if you click "View" on the top menu & go down to "show" & untick "slices" (by simply clicking it) this annoyance will be gone.

Follow this link to see an example.

I have added some more video tutorials to my web site on sharpening and printing tips. There is quite a bit that I did not cover in my club talks.

I will be adding some more on selections and layers soon.

If anyone is interested in a DVD collection of all the tutorials, let me know via this forum please.

Cheers

I have added several more tutorials on selections and layers and will be adding more in the next few days. I will also post some of the images used in the videos so that you can practice on them. Please feel free to suggest, comment and or criticise. I hope you find them useful. :-)
