If you wish, there is an alternative method available for posting images on this forum. Click on the "Upload Attachment" button and select the file from your hard drive by hitting "Browse" then "Add File". When you upload your message you will get something like this example.
Please note that images should be no more than 800 pixels on the longest side and as close to 200K file size as is reasonable. A little more is OK if the detail in the image needs it to maintain quality.
When you view the image click on it and it will open up fully.

Under the Save/Preview/Submit boxes there are several tabs one of which is Upload Attachment. If you can't see it then we might need to switch something on.

I will need to turn on the upload attachment button. We originally shied away from using this to avoid using masses of space. Will turn on the feature when I get into work!
It would be helpful if the flickr / photobucket options can be used as much as possible. Thanks.
