Sculptural Architecture

There are plenty of record shots of Architecture and famous buildings that can become more than a bit repeated, the example that springs to mind is Big Ben or the Eiffel Tower. When I was in New York (clue here) I was looking for sculptural elements of buildings and how I could record this in a different way. It would be good to know what people think of my attempt! Unfortunately I am not as happy with the result in terms of technical quality as I am in terms of composition, tone and light but I was still pleased with the idea.

Extra super bonus Kudos for anyone who knows the building! :-d

Oohh I really like this Mike. Great idea. Like the abstraction and seeing something perhaps more of a personal interpretation than a straight record shot.

Is it perhaps the American HQ of the Toblerone Appreciation Society? Thought not !!

No; but maybe I should get in touch with them and offer this as an idea for their new building!

Mike, like the receding triangles on the right and how the white one on the left offers a balance. Initially had thought it might benefit without the diagonal on the bottom, but that works for me the more I look at it ...
