White balance and RAW convertor

Advice/guidance required!!!

I always shoot in RAW, so use Photoshops RAW convertor. For adjusitng the white balance I just use my eye untill I think it looks right (which isnt always right), I'm thinking there must be a more technical way of doing this using the tools in the convertor, however I have no idea. Can anyone recomend a method that so I can get good white balance correction, that is repeatable and not depandant on my eye.

Thanks Andy

I'm always up for trying a different approach, adding colour casts is a great way to sometimes add that bit more punch to an image, ask John what a blue one does to my face, damn dirty i'll tell you. I'm still scrubbing it after seeing the print.
But that aside it shows every skin detail off to a tee. Thanks john i'm going to exfoliate myself now with something green and goey.
