First meeting of the year and great to see everyone back after quite a long break this time.

Len's set of black and white images was a good reminder of the quality of conventional darkroom printing. It's difficult to get a similar degree of quality from a digital print, not impossible but difficult, but it reminds us of the benchmark.

Something to aim for!

Yes John, I must agree, it was nice to see so many old friends on the print easel. It brought back many memories. The quality of those 'real' photographs takes some beating digitally. I suppose digital will get there in the end, if the increase in print quality over the past few years is anything to go by. Alan D.

Great night last night, some superb images. When I see images of this quality, in such quantity too, it makes me realise just how far I still have to go. But I an’t givin up yet.
