Hi There Lee.... images 2 3 & 5 work nicely.... Two could do with something that would give you a sense of size perhaps... the overall lighting is flattering...and the shadow is soft and even...nice graduation.... The basket weave might benefit from a rear light...adding a specific light either ...

An ordinary everyday bike rack.... taken in a way to show something the designer never thought of...

To be honest John... The fact that Bowens are bringing out all new singing and dancing DIGITAL heads { the 250R and the 500R } in March... and have introduced teh COMPACT 200 +400 range... but they only have an on off swith for the modelling lamp...NO brightness control... means that their 250 and 5...

Since The Sony is ACTUALLY a Minolta fit... you could try looking round Jessops and Calumet for a Minolta T ring...
I also had a 500mm mirror by Vivitar... and a minolta 700... it was a T ring that worked for me.... it meant it was a completely manual lens...

I would love this image to be considered as an entry for good use of lighting... just one main studio light fitted with softbox.
