David Butcher - Mono landscapes
Really enjoyed last nights presentation by David and his mono work is very inspiring as always. There were a lot of stunning views which were enhanced by his use of B&W and infra-red film and we would all love to travel to see some of those breathtaking views.

Agreed - he has produced some excellent work, a very talented man. Really glad I bought the book set, well worth £15.

It looked like he sold out on the night, so hopefully anyone else made arrangements to get copies.
Mono landscapes can be awe inspiring. They are difficult to do well, but when they work it's worth the effort.

Craftsman like printing made the evening worthwhile. And it does show that overcast/ wet/ weather is great for monochrome shooting.
But the subject matter can be like marmite you either love it or hate it. Sometimes you just have to appreciate the craftsmanship, but not its content,Sadly for me I didn't appreciate some of the content.
Glad to have seen a man who made his grade and mark over 20+ years ago and can still promote his same art now.,it just goes to show that quality never really goes out of fashion
A thoroughly different nights enterainment compared to last weeks laughter and fun filled high quality panels of prints, but rewarding none the less.
Well done Pammie for sourcing yet another diverse night of education and entertainment
