Re: #92- Numbers.
Hexa (Greek for 6)
The number 6 is the 'Mother' number and is essentially a working, building number. It symbolizes responsibility and service, which needs to be achieved through love, nurturing and protection.
There is an innate desire within the 6 to bring harmony, peace, justice and truth to all experiences in life. There is a perfected sense of balance with the 6 vibration. 6 thrives on beauty and needs to be comfortable in all areas of their lives – emotionally, spiritually and physically.
The lucky number of the Chinese culture.
But, most importantly. The number of beers in a "Six Pack."
Not sure how to show the image any bigger...!!

Re: #92- Numbers.
Here are the results for the Numbers competition.
Thank-you to all who entered.
Stu-B A very small image, i don`t think we are seeing its full potential, i like the colours and the vertical format, a good all round shot.
Myra, Well i never, Myra found an my "age" on the side of a rusty old train-- it ticks all the boxes, she knows how much i like rust.
Yachtsman, This image fits the bill for numbers, but personally i would have gone in closer and just taken one badge, i find it a little bit to busy overall.
Pauline, This is a very summer picture, i like the box slightly off centre, but the number is not as prominent as in some of the other images.
Bazzasmeg, This is very topical, it was well seen, a pleasing image but not quite as strong as some of the others.
Phillip, I had to look at this for quite some time before i found the number. It`s a well taken shot, but it does`nt quite tick my box.
Janice, I like the textures in this very much, but i think it would be a stronger image if the lefthand side had been cropped to remove the empty space.
John, I like this a lot, its so different from the rest in the comp, i suppose you did`nt move far from your desk to take it.
Stelee, T he textures on this are smashing, well spotted, lots of people would pass it by without seeing the Roman Numerals.
Tracey, I like the close crop of the clock face, it fits the brief and its well taken.
Here`s the winners,
3rd, Stu-B, pity about the size.
2nd, Stelee,
1st, John,
Congratulations John,, its over to you.
