16th August 2012 - Guide to Photoshop

Post by John »

I'll be presenting this one and will post some further details soon, when I've finalised what is being covered.

This time it won't be purely a beginners' night as we get fewer complete beginners, but we do have some and we need to help them as much as possible. So some elementary stuff, but also I'm planning to look at a couple of specific areas at least.

In any event, I'm hopeful that if you take away from the evening just a couple of things that are new, then it will be of benefit.
Best regards

So far, there will be a section on HDR and also a section on resizing and sharpening. There will also be a Q&A section to cover any problems or queries anyone may have.
Best regards

In principle yes, but not actually elements. What I mean by that is that all the versions of Photoshop have some basic priciples in common, so although I will be using CS2 we can apply things to any of the versions.

The HDR will be done using Photomatix, so that's totally separate from Photoshop anyway.
Best regards
