Hi There, new here...

Post by Richard Luke »

Hi there, just thought I would sign up on here to see whats going on in the local area. I live in Atherton and have a keen interest in photography. Got a fair bit of kit these days, recently upgraded to the new Canon 5D Mk iii and WOW what a difference over my old 40D I can tell you!

Look forward to chatting to some of you and maybe getting together for a shoot at some point?

Thanks, Rick

Hi Allan,

yes thats me (for my sins! haha) I signed up to the forum as she was telling me you had been down a few times, the only reason I stopped going was because Becky didn’t want to go anymore and I didn’t know anyone else down there and didn’t have anyone to talk to. Don’t get me wrong, they where a really friendly bunch but its not the same when you don’t actually know anyone.

Hi Rick

Me and two other lads go every Thursday, we're all between 35 to 39 ish haha. You're more than welcome to join us if you ever fancy. I'm really an amateur but Chris and Andy are much more technical than me and each like landscape type stuff.

Dare say we'll all be off out places when weather improves. Entirely up to you.

Allan
