Golden Gate Bridge cable stantion

Hi

Took many shots of San Fransisco during our stay in the city, obviously the GGB has been photographed to death so i was looking for an unusual shot or a shot from an unusual angle, hence the attached there was a bright big sky which a hour or so earlier had been dense muggy fog so that improved the image quite a lot so any comments would be welcome and please feel free to view my efforts on Flikr screen name Den Gilbert again all comments / opinions welcome.

We were there in May 1995 for a couple of days & the weather was abysmal, drove across the bridge with a video camera attached to the windscreen, then stopped at the viewing area on the outbound side to take some shots of the bay, couldn't even see Alcatraz island. I think you were lucky to get a good shot of the "pink" GGB.

Thanks Eric,

We were in San Fran for a week so had a lot of opportunities to get some good shots this particular day the weather was appalling drizzle, fog, we walked from the Bay to Saulsilito over the GGB by the the time we got to the bridge on Bay side the weather was perfect.
