A Year of Blogging (NSFW)

Post by Paul Jones »

In November 2012 I had the notion of redesigning my website around WordPress and sharing my thoughts and ramblings with the world. I set myself the task of updating my blog at least once a week and so far, with just a couple of exceptions, have done it.

To mark the one year anniversary I have redesigned my Home pages with a selection of my favourite images, which I hope gives a good representation of my style of photography.

Please let me know what you think... http://www.pauljones.org/

If you have any suggestions for a future blog post let me know.

Hi Paul

I love that fact that you have many more models on your web page, and have included Matt.

Two things strike me:

- my favourite photo on your previous website was Melissa in black underwear lying on her tummy - that seems to have disappeared - can we have it back?

- the web site cycles between two pages - and the photos at the bottom of one page are clipped in half, so we can only see the heads of the models (was that intentional?).

Other that that, I think it's a great improvement. It would also be nice if we could click on each icon and get the whole picture - any chance??

Cheers

Mel

I seriously considered that shot Mel. I have lots of good Melissa lingerie shots. I could have filled the entire site with Melissa pics, but tried to be selective.

Maybe I've made a mistake missing that one off. I've tried to show a mix of lingerie, glamour, portrait, colour, mono - with different models.

I went though thousands of images and narrowed it down to the final 100 and then whittled it down to the final choices.

It's the way the site is designed. I had to allow for the bottom bar and the menu bar as much as I could when laying out the images. There's nothing I can do but live with it.

No. The site isn't setup to do that.

Thanks for commenting. Much appreciated. :D

Well, Mel, you'll be glad to hear that I've had a rethink. And Melissa in black lingerie is now back on my home page. ;-]

I've replaced a couple of the other shots too.

Thanks again for your feedback.
