Help with photoshop cc

Post by Phil Ingham »

Hi all. Ive had a slight issue with photoshop this week. I dont think Ive changed the setting on my PC but when I try to stack shots (File >> Scripts >> Load files into stack) it gives the message, "could not complete the load files into stack command because photoshop could not find the javascript plug in"

I have also lost the view in the preview window for the sharpening tool.

I have installed the latest version of Java script, and deleted the old ones. I have the lastest genuine photoshop cc which is all up to date with the upgrades.

I have never tried to stack shots before, so I dont know If the function was there previously.

Cheers

Phil.

This is what I get.....

If I get an error message I usually copy and paste it into Google ^.

Which took me to this page:

http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1007322

Which suggested this remedy:

I would reset the preferences in both Bridge and Photoshop.
Bridge hold down the Crtl key and start Bridge.. You should get reset window.
In PS start PS and IMMDEIATELY hold down the Ctrl + Alt + Shift keys.
Should get a reset window. A little tricky so if you see splash screen you are too late.

Try it and see if it works... :D
