Managed to snap this yesterday morning from a Liverpool roof top. Only had my Galaxy S5 phone with me, so this is digitally zoomed, then cropped. So the quality isn't the best, but I quite like the mood and composition.

I think it's one of the better ones I've seen - the foreground silhouette is unusual and very striking.
The one pity about all the eclipse shots for me is that they could equally well just be a shot of a crescent moon. I'm not sure how this could be avoided?

Totally agree John, that's what I thought. Cracking photo, one of the best I've seen, I think the foreground helps rather than just having a photo of the eclipse with nothing else in it to give it scale or tell a story.
